Allergen information
Last updated 14 October 2026
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please speak to Chicken Mews before you order.
Call 0117 969 7999 and tell us what you cannot eat. We will tell you what is in each dish and how it is prepared, so you can decide whether it is safe for you.
Our allergen information
This is the allergen information document supplied by Chicken Mews (Version 1.0 – May 2024), shown exactly as supplied. If you have an allergy or need anything clarified, please contact Chicken Mews before you order. Open it full size.

The 14 allergens we must tell you about
Celery, cereals containing gluten (such as wheat, rye, barley and oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, and sulphur dioxide and sulphites.
Cross-contact
Our food is prepared in a kitchen where many ingredients are handled, so we cannot promise that any dish is completely free of an allergen. Ask us about the dishes you are interested in before you order.
When you collect
Ask at the counter if you want to check allergen information again when you collect your order. Please tell us about any allergy you mention in the order notes as well, but do not rely on the notes alone: call us before you order.
